Robert Bramwell-Jones was born in South Africa and came to this country some 40 years ago. He began his adult life as an architect but soon turned to painting full time, studying at the Byam Shaw School of Art in the 80’s. He has exhibited in Greece, the USA, UK and his native South Africa.

His published illustration work includes a short educational story set around the AIDS epidemic in Africa, picture books of African folk tales and an Art Story Book for young and adult children telling “tales of Draga Dragons and Rescuing Art.” He has assisted as visiting artist taking art projects into primary schools in London and has been a volunteer artist with Rise Phoenix - a charity bringing arts projects to children in deprived areas of London and around the world.

Robert has work in private collections in Japan, New Zealand, Australia, the USA, South Africa, Continental Europe, Thailand and the UK, and in Public collections in South Africa.
